Atticus is an extremely well put together Friesian colt born 19 June 2024. Very friendly and intelligent, Atticus is the first to greet you in the paddock and thrives on human interaction of all kinds. Atticus is out of our Ster mare, Elza Van Gelder by Teun 505. Atticus presents with excellent conformation alongside a sweet, kind temperament and willingness to learn making him a great prospect for the future.

Atticus’s sire Teun 505 is known to enhance model movement technique, mentality and trainability. Some of Teun’s most recent achievements include Champion of Younger Stallions 2021 and Reserve Champion of Younger Stallions 2022 in the Netherlands.

Atticus’s dam Elza Van Gelder most recently was awarded Ster at the 2023 Tasmanian Keuring. Elza presents with fantastic movement boasting an uphill carrying trot, a trait which Atticus has inherited. Elza has also previously been awarded Champion of the SA Keuring in 2019 and Reserve Champion of the Tassie Keuring in 2023.

We pride ourselves on giving our foals the very best start. Every attention is given to nutritionally balanced diets from conception to adulthood, via testing of soil, pasture, hay & water. Youngsters are given incremental life lessons to prepare them for their journey with their person. The basics of leading, floating, tying up, standing for farriers and rugging. Are all important steps before a foal will leave us.
