The Australian Friesian Horse Society has a long association with Equitana and is extremely proud that a Friesian has twice taken out horse of the year in 2014 and 2016 with  Bastiaan 510 (Braggo S) of Terarossa Lodge Friesian Horses.  This unprecedented back to back win was an incredible achievement and was a wonderful endorsement of the breed in Australia.

 

2018 saw the AFHS located predominantly in the Breed Village showcasing the breed.  With the launch of new promotional gear the display was a huge success. Once again a Friesian was represented in the top five horse of the year when Permit Stallion 'Kai' was presented on the Saturday.

2022 promises to be another fantastic event in the AFHS calendar.
